Gilles Vankersschaever
Career
Gilles Vankersschaever graduated from UGent in 2021 with high distinction. He followed another in-depth Master after Master in social law at VUB, where he graduated with high distinction in 2022.
During his studies, he followed internships at several law firms, was active as a clerk at the Flemish Sports Tribunal and worked as a lawyer at the ABVV.
Since 2022, he has been a member of the Bar of Ghent. He followed a two-year internship with Sammy Bouzoumita, where he immersed himself in all aspects of law, with a particular emphasis on criminal law.
Since August 2024, he has been associated with Bellaw.
Experience
Gilles Vankersschaever assists both individuals and companies in advice and litigation in all facets of employment and social security law.
He combines his interest in social law with a special interest in (social) criminal law.
He also attended the SUPRALET training course (Salduz interrogation assistance), which allows him to adequately assist his clients during interrogations by the social inspectorate and other authorities.
