Career
Alexander De Becker holds a master's degree (2000) and a doctorate (2006) in law.
Alexander De Becker is currently a professor at Ghent University, where he has been teaching at the Faculty of Law since 2017, including the subject of labour law as well as working for the government in the bachelor's and master's programmes respectively.
In 2007, he became a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
Alexander De Becker has taught and conducted research at numerous foreign universities, including the University of Amsterdam, Leiden University, Oxford University and the University of Turin.

Experience
Alexander De Becker has more than twenty years’ experience in administrative and labour law, both as a professor of social and administrative law and as a lawyer.
