Alexander DE BECKER new partner to the firm of Bellaw Gent - Van Eeckhoutte, Taquet & Clesse.

Alexander De Becker, renowned specialist in administrative and social law, will be switching as from 1 February 2022, from Bloom's team employment to Bellaw, more specifically to the Ghent office.

At Bellaw, Alexander will continue to specialise in administrative and social law and handle records in all branches thereof. His particular expertise concerns the rights of public sector employees (public servants’ law and law of public contractors), collective bargaining in the public sector and inter-municipal partnerships.

Alexander De Becker's research experience at various universities in Belgium and abroad guarantees the quality of his services as a lawyer. His numerous publications are proof of his knowledge and skills.

Alexander is not only a lawyer, but also a professor at the University of Ghent, where he teaches, among other things, labour law at the Faculties of Law and Criminology and of Medicine and Health Sciences.

His joining Bellaw as a partner strengthens the firm's expertise in social law in general, and public servants’ law in particular.
